With the goal of returning to the company as a highly skilled project manager, Rod studied business at Mount Allison University.  Being able to blend his on-site experience with his business education has helped Nuttall evolve to where it is today. Rod graduated from Mount Allison in 2002 with a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance and Organizational Behaviour.

Vastly qualified in his field, Rod has his Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire Restoration Specialist (FRS), Applied Microbial (mould and sewage) Remediation Technician (AMRT) and Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS) certifications. He has worked on countless residential and commercial restoration and construction projects with Nuttall. Rod grew up working in the carpentry and general construction industry and he has become even more knowledgeable in the field through his many years of hands-on experience.

Rod is happily married to a small town sweetheart he met from Alma, New Brunswick. They enjoy backcountry camping and spending time with family and friends.

As a carpenter and a nurse, respectively, he and his wife also dedicate time to doing mission and relief work.
